The former vice president spent yesterday with
children from the community who would be benefitting
from TELA.
TELA is an American University of Nigeria project,
teaching basic literacy
and numeracy to vulnerable
children, sponsored by USAID.
Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president has launched
Technology Enhanced Learning for All (TELA) in Yola, the
Adamawa state capital.
The former vice president spent yesterday, February 1, with
children from the community who would be benefitting from
the project.
Atiku expressed excitement about the project saying, 20,000
Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) children will get
valuable education.
Atiku also visited some of his old classmates, Alhaji Musa
Mammawa and Alhaji Mahmud Song, where he was treated to a
delicious meal of good rice and stew
